Position Summary:
This position supports our facility by maintaining and repairing equipment, both in a shop and in the field. Equipment can consist of conveyor belts, rotating mechanical equipment, bearings, pumps, motors, piping, steel equipment, crushers, vibrating screens, dryers, and any other equipment associated with a heavy industrial facility. Candidates need to be able to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude, welding, fabrication, machining, pipefitting, and some electrical experience is required. Additional experience with man-lifts, forklifts, backhoe, skid steer and lifting equipment is preferred. Position is full-time. Shift work, however normal work schedule is day shift. Job description:
The Blue Mountain Millwright Mechanics II and III will be part of the Maintenance Department team and report to the Maintenance Department Manager, providing Maintenance support throughout the Columbia mine site. The site includes production facilities and warehouse and office operations.
What You’ll Do
Maintain, diagnose, trouble shoot, repair, and install mechanical equipment and systems at a Blue Mountain Minerals facility utilizing technical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
Work as a team with the entire Maintenance department, the Millwright Mechanic performs general maintenance duties, preventive maintenance, trouble calls, and emergency maintenance as needed and assigned.
Work on Maintenance projects throughout the facility.
Perform equipment repairs and similar duties, often independently with no oversight or direction. Equipment can consist of conveyor belts, rotating mechanical equipment, bearings, pumps, motors, piping, steel equipment, crushers, vibrating screens, dryers, and any other equipment associated with heavy industrial manufacturing.

Experience and qualifications REQUIRED:

The Plant Manager works closely and facilitates communications with environmental, sales, customer service, and finance personnel. We are seeking a skilled Driller to join our team. The Blue Mountain Quarry Driller will be part of the PIT Department team and will report to the PIT Manager, providing drill support to the Columbia Mine Site. The ideal candidate will have experience in vertical drilling (in hard rock), preferably with a Down the Hole Hammer set-up. This position offers the opportunity to work in the dynamic environment within the mining industry. Position Responsibilities:
· Safely maneuver drill to various locations within the quarry.
· Ensure compliance with OSHA/MSHA regulations during all drilling activities
· Verify positions and depth of blast hole locations before drilling to determine if it is safe to move forward with the
process.
· Check gauges, monitor drilling condition and pay close attention to equipment to decide if it needs to be altered or adjusted during drilling.
· Use knowledge of soil or rock conditions to determine where to drill and the possible changing conditions in that specific blast hole.
· Stop, start, and control machine drilling speed. Accurately align drill hammer on exact location to be drilled. Safely use stabilizer pads to level up machine.
· Regulate downward pressure, rotary speed, and air pressure depending on the type of material being drilled. Operator should be able to constantly make changes to settings and procedures for all types of rock conditions.
· Bore and drill holes in solid/fractured rock, help with the blasting process, and work with other members of the crew to ensure accuracy and safety.
· Follow all protocol and standard operating procedures to guarantee safety and compliance on the job site and keep team members safe from injury.
· Receive Universal Operator Training and Sign-Off to operate any equipment, when needed and as directed by Management.

Position Summary:
Blue Mountain Minerals is looking for a talented Quarry Manager for its mining facility in Columbia, California. The Quarry Manager will report directly to the Plant Manager and will manage and direct quarry and fleet maintenance operations and personnel. The Quarry Manager works closely with other departments, ensuring quarry operations are conducted within safety and regulatory compliance requirements, quality and company guidelines, and that costs, efficiencies and volume targets are maintained at or better than budgeted or standard levels.
Position Responsibilities:
Promotes mine safety through education of employees and proper implementation and enforcement to meet all applicable OSHA and MSHA guidelines.
Maintains and educates subordinates on all quarry operations and equipment in compliance with all environment regulations and permits and understands the overall significance and ramifications of non-compliance. Regulations include air quality, water quality, land quality, waste disposal, and others that may apply.
Establish preventive maintenance procedures to maximize quarry uptime and manage costs.
Actively participates in preparing the mine’s strategic operating plan.
Coordinates with engineers and geologists to plan and implement extraction processes.
Monitors production levels and adjusts processes to optimize efficiency.
Implements quality control measures to ensure materials meet specifications.
Directs the coordination of quarry operational departments to ensure compliance with company objectives, quality systems, and customer satisfaction.
Prepares annual operational budget for quarry departments.
Conducts site inspections and risk assessments.
Performs other duties as assigned by company Plant Manager.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Expert knowledge in reserves maximization and mine development and planning techniques.

Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $185,000.00 plus up to 15% annual bonus, based on performance.

Responsible for operating water truck in all areas of the Columbia plant and mine. Adheres to all plant and quarry procedures. Other job duties as assigned from time to time. The position is temporary with expected 4 month duration (May to August). Full-time schedule with no benefits included. Pay depending on experience.

Weighmaster I
Position Type: Full-time/Part-time
Position Summary:
The Weighmaster position reports to the Scale house Manager. The key job responsibilities include weighing trucks in and out, data entry, coordinating the loading of customer trucks, and customer service. The position is full-time during normal business hours and Saturdays; overtime is required as needed.
Position Responsibilities:
Weigh trucks in and out using computer scale house programs and load calculation sheets.
Manually operate switches to load products onto trucks with respect to state and federal regulations.
Ensure compliance paperwork is orderly and accurate.
Communicate effectively with trucking companies on changes in company policies or procedures as needed.
Follow all safety and environmental rules.
Work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
Be energetic, self-motivating and organized.
Exhibit excellent customer service skills.
Maintain clean scale and Scale house.
Scale cleanup includes skid steer operation, shoveling and use of high-pressure hoses.
