Blue Mountain Minerals is required to register its agricultural mineral products through the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) Fertilizers Materials Inspection Program (FMIP). The Organic Input Material (OIM) program registers fertilizing materials allowed in organic crop and food production. The program is mandated by the Legislature and supported by the industry. Products claiming to be appropriate for use in organic production are verified to comply with the California Fertilizing Materials Law, Regulations and USDA national organic program standards. This program is industry funded and designed to ensure consumers receive fertilizing materials that meet the quality and guarantees on the product label. Investigators throughout the state conduct routine sampling and inspections, respond to consumer complaints and enforce the regulations that govern the manufacture and distribution of fertilizing materials.

Our organic feed ingredient products will maintain registration with the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI), a reputable and widely recognized certifying agency for organic listings.
